ATLANTA/PEACHTREE CITY (June 23, 2016) – Mark Williamson, the CFO of Group VI Corporation, has purchased the construction division of the company and renamed it R. Williamson Construction, to be publically known as Randolph Williamson.
Group VI was founded in 1989 and has grown to become the premier full-service commercial real estate and construction firm in Atlanta’s Southern Crescent. Mark Williamson joined his father, Ron Williamson, at Group VI in 1992. In 1996 Mark was promoted to CFO of Group VI Corporation and in 2008 added the joint title of president of Group VI Construction.
Under the direction of Mark Williamson, the construction company has completed more than 500 commercial projects throughout the South including such high profile projects as Pinewood Atlanta Studios and the adjacent Georgia Film Academy, Spalding Regional Medical Center, Fayette Physicians Center, the Fairburn Education Campus and The Old Edwards Inn, Highlands, North Carolina.
